Shipping & duty
Two prices for everything: all-in with US duty paid, or duty unpaid if you would sooner clear the goods yourself. Freight is inside both.
All-in is the default. Our forwarder clears the shipment and pays the duty, so one number covers the jacket, the branding, the freight and the border. Nothing is collected when it arrives. The duty-unpaid price is published beside it with the estimated rate and HTS code for your garment, because some buyers already have a customs broker and prefer to use them.
How it ships
Air cargo to your US address, consolidated and cleared by our forwarder. Above a few hundred pieces sea freight becomes worth discussing, but it adds four to six weeks.
Freight is a fixed figure inside the delivered price rather than billed at cost. Rates move; that stays our problem. The number you plan against is the number you pay, even if the market moved between your order and your shipment.
Orders ship individually bagged and hanger-ready, so they go straight onto a rail or into a fulfilment bin without being repacked.
How long it takes
The delivery times on the pricing page are times to your door. They already include production, transit and customs clearance — there is no second number to add at the end.
| Order size | In the factory | To your door |
|---|---|---|
| Sample | under 1 week | 14 days |
| 5-50 pieces | 2 weeks | 4 weeks |
| 200+ pieces | 3-4 weeks | 6 weeks |
We publish the date we can keep, not the one we can hit on a good week.
Who pays duty, and how much
On the all-in price, we do. Our forwarder clears the shipment and pays US import duty, so it is already inside the number you see and nothing is collected at your door. Choose the duty-unpaid price instead and you clear the goods yourself and pay the duty on arrival, at the estimated rates below.
| Product | HTS | Estimated rate | How firm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leather jacket | 4203.10.40 | 16% | Firm estimate |
| Varsity jacket, wool-melton body | 6201.20.40 | about 30.5% | Estimate · may be lower once confirmed |
| Satin jacket, polyester | 6201.40.75 | 37.7% | Firm estimate |
| Hoodie, cotton knit | 6110.20.20 | 26.5% | Firm estimate |
US import duty, Pakistan to the United States, checked 2026-10-02. Duty is an estimate at current US rates for this product. We confirm your exact rate in writing before you pay.
Two things drive those figures. The base rate for the heading — 6% on a leather jacket, 16.5% on a cotton knit hoodie, considerably more on man-made-fibre outerwear — and the 10% action currently applied to goods of Pakistan under Section 301 forced-labour action, in force since 12:01 a.m. eastern time, 24 July 2026. Apparel is not exempted from it.
The varsity line is the one to watch. A wool-melton body with leather sleeves is a genuine classification question: where the leather imparts the essential character the jacket can fall under the leather heading at a far lower rate, and where the wool does it carries a compound rate by weight. We publish the higher plausible figure. Satin is the quiet trap — the cheaper jacket is the more expensive import.
On a duty-unpaid shipment there are usually small broker and handling fees on top. Individually minor. Collectively, and unannounced, they are how a planned margin becomes a smaller one. On the all-in price they are ours to pay, not yours.
Duty on a sample
Samples arrive duty-paid. Nothing to pay at the door.
The $800 de minimis exemption was suspended for all countries in August 2025 and the suspension continues, so a sample is dutiable like any other shipment. We cover it rather than leave you with a courier charge on a test piece. That applies to the sample fee itself – $99, $139 or $149 – and not to an order of under five pieces at the sample rate, which follows whichever price view you choose.
Why we publish it
Duty is the charge that surprises first-time importers hardest, because it arrives after the goods, after you have set a retail price, and after you have mentally banked the margin.
Telling you in advance makes our number look bigger than a supplier who stays quiet about it. It also means you can run the arithmetic before you order rather than after.
See it, hold it, then decide.
A sample arrives in fourteen days with pattern-making included, and the fee comes off your first order in full.
